[NH] I recall my grandmother, Karine, often speak fondly of her cousin, Karine Erickson. They were first cousins.

KAREN ERICKSON, 78, DIES, RITES FRIDAY AT SACRED HEART
Mrs. Karen M. Erickson of Willmar, age 78, died Monday at the Willmar Nursing Home where she has been a resident for the past four years.
She is survived by a son, Robert of Dawson, and a daughter, Mrs. Arnold Iverson (Irene) of Clearwater, Fla. Also surviving are two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband Gilbert Erickson who died in 1954.
Mrs. Erickson had been a resident in Willmar since 1948, and since 1964 had resided at Willmar Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at First English Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart. The Rev. O.A. Monson will officiate and burial will be at the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Sunset Funeral Home in Echo on Thursday afternoon and evening and at the church from 12 o'clock noon until the time of the service.

Rites for Mrs. G. Erickson
Funeral services have been arranged for Mrs. Gilbert Erickson of Willar, at First Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart Firday at 2 p.m.
Mrs. Erickson, 78, passed away Monday at a nursing home where she had lived for four years. She was a former Sacred Heart resident.
Mrs. Erickson is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Arnold Overson of Clearwater, Florida; a son, Donald of Colorado; two granddaughters and five great-grandchildren. Her husband and son Robert preceded her in death. Mrs. Erickson was the last of her family.
