Amanda Lindstrom, 83, Dies in New Richmond
Ellen Amanda Lindstrom, 83, of 1309 4th Street, died Sunday March 14, at Maple Manor Nursing Home at New Richmond after a long illness.
Miss Lindstrom was born August 16, 1887, in La Crosse county, the daughter of Andrew P. and Hedvig (Peterson) Lindstrom.
She had been a housekeeper and for the last few years before her confinement to the nursing home, she had been making her home with her sister, Mrs. Robert Lindemann of Hudson.
Besides her sister, Mrs. Robert Lindemann, she is survived by one brother, Clarence Lindstrom of Portland, Oregon.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran church of Hudson.
Funeral services were Tuesday, March 16, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Lutheran church with Rev. Keith A. Pearson officiating. Miss Emma Engebretson sang accompanied by Mrs. Douglas Fyksen at the organ. Interment was in Willow River cemetery.
Pallbearers were Herbert Borchardt, Lawrence Anderson, Charles W. Palmer, Christian Orf, Einar Danielson and William Brosi.
