Lena Karras Passes Away; Funeral Friday
Miss Lena Karras passed away Tuesday evening, September 13, at the Dailey hospital here after a lingering illiness of several weeks. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Friday morning at St. Patrick's church, Monsignor Owens officating.

Funeral for Lena Karras Held Friday
Miss Lena Karras, who lived in the vicinity of Hudson all her life died on Tuesday, September 13, died on Tuesday, September 13, 1938 at the Dailey Hospital after a lingering illness at the age of 54 years.
She was born in the town of St. Joseph on March 31, 1884 and resided there and on a farm in the town of Hudson until she became ill last winter. Although her illness was a very painful one she bore it all patiently and without any complaint.
Miss Karras was a faithful member of St. Patrick's church. She was a very industrous person, and was always ready and willing to help others, and will be greatly missed by her friends and relatives.
She is survived by two sisters and two brothers. They are Mrs. Louis Larsen and Mrs. J. A. Casanova of Hudson, Joseph Karras of St. Paul and Wm. Karras of Hudson.
The funeral was held from St. Patrick's church on Friday, September 16th, with interment in the Catholic cemetery.
