Mrs. Olaf Jenson, the former Aileen Fitzgerald, died of cancer at Hudson Memorial hospital Thursday, June 5.
Funeral services were Saturday, June 7, at 10 a.m. at Swanson's Funeral home, with the Very Rev. Alex Anton, pastor of St. Patrick's Catholic church, officiating. Burial was in St. Patrick's cemetery.
Aileen Katherine Fitzgerald was born in Elroy May 11, 1909, the daughter of the late James and Katherine Fitzgerald.
She was a graduate of Hudson High school with the class of 1926 and attended River Falls State Normal, where she received a degree in education. She was a school teacher.
In 1934 she was married to Olaf J. Jenson, a teacher and coach, who died in February 1974.
She and her husband lived in Pepin, Hayward, Colfax and Lake Benton, Minnesota, and then in Spooner from 1947 to 1972.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Monica Jenson of Los Angeles, and a sister, Mrs. Anthony (Marguerite) Zazza of rural Hudson.
