Gladys became a member of the Stark Branch of the American Red Cross when it was
organized in 1918. In addition to holding a two year term as a Director, she
was a member of the Sewing Committee.

In 1920 Gladys was single and a nurse at the hospital. She later resided in St.
Paul, Minnesota. In December, 1943, at the time of her mother's death, they
lived in Marrietta, Minnesota.
