Hilda Carolina Erickson

Hilda Erickson, the daughter of Carl Erickson, was born in Sweden and came to America at the age of 15. She and Erick Andrew resided at Fish Lake and Stark for 29 years until his death in 1921. The next year, 1922, she moved to St. Paul where she resided with her daughter, Victoria, until her death in December 1943.

Funeral Rites Conducted For Mrs. Hilda Hawkinson
Mrs. Hilda Carolina Hawkinson, wife of Eric Andrew Hawkinson, deceased in 1921, passed away on December 1, 1943 at St. Paul, where she had resided since 1922.
Mrs. Hawkinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Erickson, was born in Sweden in 1863 on December 27. She came to America at the age of fifteen. She was married to Eric Andrew Hawkinson in 1893 and resided at Fish Lake and Stark
until a year following her husband's death.
Mrs. Hawkinson is survived by her three daughters, A. Victoria, of 1383 Edmund Ave., St. Paul, Ella A. of the Teachers College at Moorhead, and Mrs. S.G. Carlson (Gladiolus) of Marietta, Minnesota, and a sister, Johanna, and a
brother, Frank, of Stark.
Funeral services were held at the Johnston Funeral Home in St. Paul. Interment was at the cemetery at Harris on December 4, 1943.
