Mary Ann Fahrion Dies at Age 84 at Harris Home
Requiem mass was celebrated for Mrs. Mary Fahrion at St. Gregory's church, North Branch, Friday, July 30, with Fr. Frank J. Fee officiating. Casket bearers were Joe Kunza, Henry Connor, Harland Huenecke and Neal Deming.
Interment was at St. Joseph's cemetery in North Branch.
Mrs. Mary Ann Chapman Fahrion was born in County Wexford, Ireland, July 12, 1881, to Peter Chapman and Catherine Donahue Chapman. She left Ireland to go to England to work and in 1912 she came to America. In January of 1915 she was married to Eberhardt Fahrion. To this union two sons were born, Finley and Alfred.
Mr. and Mrs. Fahrion spent most of their married life on a farm east of Harris. Mr. Fahrion passed away August 29, 1945.
Mary Fahrion passed away at her home July 27 at the age of 84 years. She is survived by her two sons, Finley of Harris and Alfred of Simi, Calif., and four grandchildren: Kathleen Fahrion of Harris, and Michael, Richard and Sandra Fahrion of Simi, Calif.
