Alyce Mae Sheflund, 76, of Baldwin, died Sunday, Nov. 1, at United Hospital in St. Paul.
She was born in Baldwin, April 19, 1916, the daughter of Charles and Sena (Anderson) Radunzel. She attended school in Woodville and graduated from high school there in 1934.
On June 19, 1935, she was married in Woodville to Rueben Shefland.
They lived for many years in the Frederic area, but later returned to St. Croix County. For several years she worked at the St. Croix Health Center in New Richmond.
She enjoyed going to flea markets and garage sales, eating out with friends and crocheting. She loved working with flowers and at one time was employed at the Baldwin Greenhouse.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Rueben, in 1979; a son, John Charles, in 1959; and a daughter, Mrs. Roger (Shirley) Flatland in 1989.
Survivors are a son, Gene L. Shefland of Hudson; a daughter, Jackie Larson (Mrs. Robert) of St. Paul; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Doris Lee (Mrs. Oscar) of River Falls; and three brothers, Stanley Radunzel of Chippewa Falls, Glenn Radunzel of Baldwin and Charles Radunzel of Oklahoma.
Services were Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Baldwin. Burial was in Lone Pine Cemetery in Woodville.
