OBITUARY: The Jordan Tribune, 24Jan1969
Thomas L. Graham, 64, of Jordan, died Wednesday night, January 15th at the
Garfield County hospital in Jordan.
He was born at Grass Range, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Graham. In 1906 he
moved with his family to Roundup and in 1913 they moved to Garfield County
where the family homesteaded. He remained in Garfield County and lived on the
original homestead until 1949 when he moved to Fort Peck. He was employed by
the Corps of Engineers at Fort Peck until 1961 at which time he returned to
Garfield County and has lived in Jordan since.
He was a member of the Glasgow Elks Lodge and the Miles City Moose Lodge.
Surviving are four sons, Thomas W., stationed with the Navy in California;
Robert and Douglas, both of Jordan, and Patrick L., serving with the Navy in
Philadelphia, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Linebarger of Great Falls and Mrs.
Grace Davis of Whitefish; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday, January 20 at 1:30 p.m. in the Community
Presbyterian Church in Jordan. Rev. David P. Eekhoff officiated and burial was
in the Pioneer Cemetery at Jordan with Graves Funeral Home of Miles City in
charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers were: Deacon Riley, Ebert Stanton, Tom Lund, Jack Burner, Jack
Lufborough and A.L. Kemph.

He is found in the 1920 census in the household of his parents, Thomas L.
Graham, age 49, and wife, Pearl. Thomas L. Graham Sr. was born in Scotland and
emigrated in 1890. He was naturalized in 1895. Pearl was born in Ohio as were
both of her parents.
Also in the household were sisters, Grace, age 9, born in Montana; and Pearl,
age 4 8/12, born in Montana.
