Debbie Williamson, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Williamson of Evanston, Illinois, and Jackie Engstrom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Engstrom of Hudson, celebrated together on July 11th, the second birthday of each child. Their mothers, the former Mary Kermott and Mary Susan Hoyer, were co-hostesses at a party honoring the occasion.

John A. (Jack) Engstrom, 43, died of cancer at his home in Evergreen Estates, Woodbury, Minn., Tuesday, July 15.
He was born in River Falls, July 11, 1943, the son of Donald J. and Mary Susan (Hoyer) Engstrom.
He graduated in 1963 from Main South High School in Des Plaines, Ill., with recognition as a national honor student.
He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, receiving a bachelor of science degree, after which he went to Baylor University in Waco, Texas to obtain a law degree. Further education was at the University of Sheffield in Sheffield, England, where he was awarded a master's degree in criminology.
On Dec. 18, 1972, he was married in Southport, England, to Sandra Lucille Smith, whom he had met while studying at the University of Sheffield.
For the past 13 years he has been an attorney for West Publishing Company in St. Paul.
Services were at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in North St. Paul with interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Mahtomedi.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra; two children, Thomas and Kimberly; his father, Donald J. Engstrom, and stepmother, Eleanore Engstrom, of Elgin, Ill. Uncles and aunts are Thomas and Helen Keyes and Alice E. Christenson of Hudson, Raymond and Rosemary Engstrom of Newport, Minn., and Mrs. John A. Hoyer of St. Paul.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John B. Engstrom and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred S. Hoyer, longtime residents of Hudson, and his mother, Mary Susan (Hoyer) Engstrom, in 1968.
