Hudson friends of Irene Beaudry, now of Centralia, Wash., have received word from her of her marriage to L.L. Butterfield, the latter part of Sept. Mrs. Butterfield is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Beaudry.

Centralia resident Irene M. Butterfied died at the age of 91 on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Providence Hospital in Centralia.
Born March 1, 1901, at Stillwater, Minn., she was reared and attended schools in Wisconsin. She moved to Centralia as a child with her family and finished her schooling in Centralia.
In September of 1927, she married LaForrest L. Butterfield in Chehalis. He died Dec. 31, 1974.
Butterfield enjoyed cooking and being with her family. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Centralia.
Survivors include three sons, Ben of Centralia, Larry of Gig Harbor and Richard of South Dakota; three daughters, Frances Venard of Auburn, Marie Costa of Lynnwood and Annette Woods of Enumclaw; a stepdaughter, Dorothy Wilkerson of Georgetown, Calif; a sister, Fran Powers of Hudson, Wis.; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Remberances may be donations to a charity of the donor's choice.
Visitation may be made tonight until 8 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Sticklin Funeral Chapel in Centrailia, which is in charge of arrangements.

Irene Maude Butterfield, 91, a former Hudson resident, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Providence Hospital in Centralia, Wash. She had made her home in Washington since the 1920s.
She was born March 1, 1901, in Stillwater, the daughter of Ben and Madue (Gedsell) Beaudry.
After her mother died, she moved to Hudson, where her father remarried in 1904.
During her youth she attended St. Patrick's Catholic School and later worked at the Sanitorium (formerly the Oliver Wendell Holmes Hospital at the north end of Seventh Street.)
As a young woman she moved to the state of Washington to make her home with her maternal grandmother.
In September 1927, in Chehalis, Wash., she was married to LaForrest L. Butterfield, who preceded her in death Dec. 31, 1974.
She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Centralia.

A graveside service was Frida, Nov. 20, at Claquato Cemetery in Chehalis, under the direction of Sticklin Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Thomas Delahunty officiated at the service.
