Ralph Robey died intestate in Charles County during 1775. The Court issued letters of administration to his widow, Penelope Robey. The inventory was appraised by Thomas Darnall and Thomas Hareim at 33 Pounds 6 Shillings 7 Pence, on 12 March 1775. Stephen Robey and Kezia Robey are shown by Penelope, widow, as children of Ralph.The greatest creditors were Barnes and Ridgate, and Alexander Hamilton. The widow certified to the inventory at Court on 23 May 1775. An account was rendered the court on 21 July 1775, and another on 14 April 1776.
On the latter date it was shown that William Robey, of William, and Benjamin Shaw were the sureties.
