To son John Courts, negro men Scip & Tom, negro wench Nan & her 2 chldn. Moll & Abner, negro wenches Peg & Lydia, negro man Longo, negro boy Kell, negro man Nace on the d. of Mr. James Plant, negro man Mark on the d. of my decd. father's widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Courts & all my lands on Potomac
To son William Courtts, negro wench Patt & her 2 chldn. Jack & Kate, negro boys George & Isaac, & my part of Wicomico Fields, on Wicomico.
To son Richard Henly Courtts, negro wench Kate & her 3 chldn. Sam, Ned, & James, negro boy Harry, & negro girl Bett.
When son John reaches the age of 21 . . . .
If negroes in a suit against Andrew Monrow of Westmoreland Co., [Virginia] . . . .

To wife Elizabeth Courtts, Negro man Carpenter Jack, Negro man Chafly[?], Negro boy Nathan, Negro woman Moll, Negro woman Hannah, old mulatto woman Nan, Negro woman Judah, Negro girl Nancy, Negro boy Dick.
To wife one third part of all land on Potomack, to be laid off so as to include my dwelling house and plantation whereon I now live.
To son John Courts, Negro man Scip, one Negro man Tom, Negro wench Nan and her two children named Moll and Abner, Negro wench Peg, Negro wench Lydia, Negro man Congo, Negro boy Kell.
That son John have Negro man Nace after death of James Plunt and Negro man Mash after death of my deceased father's widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Courts.
To son John all lands on Potomack, my wife to enjoy 1/3 thereof during her lifetime.
To son William Courts Negro wench Patt, and her two children Jack and Kate, Negro boy George, Negro boy Isaac.
To son William Courts tract on Wicomico being part of "Wicoraico Fields."
To son Richard Henly Courtts, Negro wench Kate and her three children named Sam, Ned and James, Negro boy Harry, Negro girl Bett.
To wife Elizabeth Courts, 1/3 of rest of personal estate, except stock of cattle and hogs which I desire she may have one half of.
Rest of estate to be divided between my three sons, John, William and Richard Henly.
Those negroes in Virginia which I claim in my own my wife's name and for which suit is now brought or to be commenced at our instance against a certain Andrew Monrow of Westmoreland Co. These to be divided among wife and sons.
