The late Mr. George Hardey Jr, decd, was possessed jointly with the afd Henry Hardey with part of a tract of land lying in CC, called Boarmans Manor on Dividing Run, which, by his will dated last Mar 15, he requests to be sold for the purposes therein mentioned, which appoints sd Henry Hardey and Thomas Dent to sell sd land. In compliance with the afd will this deed witnesses that sd Henry Hardey & Thomas Dent, for 200 £ 7 shillings, have sold to sd William Foard Sr, all that part of a tract of land in CC on Dividing Run, called Boarmans Manor, bounded by the east side of Zakiah Swamp, and on the north side of a Fresh Run called the Dividing Run, containing about 100 acres. Signed - Thomas Clagett. Wit - Geo Fraser Hawkins, John Baynes (Prince Georges County JP's). This deed was acknowledged in Prince Georges County; Mary, wife of the sd Thomas clagett, relinquished her right of dower. Certified by Thos Sim Lee, Clerk of Prince Georges County, Recorded Apr 21, 1773.

Charles County Land Records 1775-1782; Liber V#3; Charles County Land Records 1775-1782; Liber V#3; Page 364, Jan 2, 1779 from Thomas Dent and Henry Hardy of Prince Georges County, to Notley Ford (Foard) of CC. Whereas George Hardy, late of Prince Georges County, decd, died possessed of two tracts of land called Friends Hazard and Santry, which he, sd George Hardy held in fee simple for himself and the afd Henry Hardy jointly. Sd George Hardy, by his will, invested the afd Thomas Dent and Henry Hardy with full powers to dispose of sd two tracts and to convey the same for the purposes mentioned in the afd will. Therefore, sd Thomas Dent and Henry Hardy, for 598 £, assign to sd Ford the afd two tracts, which are bounded by Marmazink, containing and laid out for about 393 acres. The 2nd tract, Santry, is bounded by the Camp Branch near the line of Friendship, containing about 53 acres. Signed - Thom. Dent, Henry Hardy.
