Notes
Death
Charlotte Estelle Cameron, 90, of Culpeper returned to her heavenly home on Saturday March 30, 2024. Charlotte was born on April 15, 1933, and was the daughter of the late Winston C. and Marion C. Furr Ballenger. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband Ellwood Cameron, her sisters; Ola Mae Cornell, Dorcas E. Tobin and Rosalie L. Cameron. She is survived by her son Raymond Travis Byrne Jr. and daughter-in-law Michele Byrne. She was one of seven sisters, and is survived by her sisters; Irene O’Brien of Warrenton, Patricia Marcey of Basye and Helen Yows of West Lake Village, California. Charlotte deeply loved and was so proud of her son, along with her countless nieces, nephews and cousins. She had a close circle of friends that she cherished and helped her with daily chores and errands, Kathie Jock, who she thought of as her “Honorary” granddaughter that always kept her looking her best, Henry Wolfe and Ronnie Leger a truly trusted friend. She was always full of life and lots of energy. Everyone who knew her loved her and her outgoing personality. She was known to tell it how she saw it. Charlotte loved her game shows, kept up with every sports team, picked up quickly on new card games, and could jam to Kid Rock. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Moser funeral home, 233 Broadview Ave., Warrenton, VA from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 in the funeral home chapel starting at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations in Charlotte’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.Endnotes
