Death

Ola Ballenger Cornell, 86, of O'Fallon, MO, died on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Delmar Gardens Retirement Community. Mrs. Cornell was born in Middleburg on July 26, 1928, a daughter of Winston Edgar Ballenger and Marion Furr Ballenger, who preceded her in death. She had been a resident of Linden, VA and a member of Upperville United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Johnnie Randolph Cornell and sister of the late Rosalie Cameron. Mrs. Cornell is survived by a daughter, Kathy Stanley of Slater, MO, five sisters; Dorcas E. Tobin of Mt. Jackson, VA, Irene O'Brien of Warrenton, VA, Charlotte Cameron of Culpeper, VA, Patricia Marcey of Basye, VA, Helen Yows of Westlake Village, CA. She was the grandmother of Heather Koglin of O'Fallon, MO, and great-grandmother of Logan and Claire Koglin. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 11 AM at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton, VA.
