Death
FOWLER -- Mary M. Legg, 57, of Fowler, died at 4:40 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, at Clarian Arnett Hospital. Born Aug. 13, 1952, in Lafayette, she was the daughter of Martha Hall Furr and the late Gerald Furr. She graduated from Benton Central High School in 1970. In 1973, she married David J. Legg in Fowler, and he survives. Mrs. Legg worked for 15 years as an emergency medical technician for the Benton County Ambulance Service, retiring in 2005. She enjoyed watching the livestock on her family farm and gardening. Surviving with her husband and mother are two sons, Jon Legg and Dustin Legg, and a daughter, Kim Legg, all of Fowler; two half brothers, Paul and Ed Furr, and a half sister, Racheal Furr, all of Minnesota. She was precededin death by 1 brother, Steven G. Furr. Visitation from 11 a.m. until time of funeral at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, at Windler Funeral Home,Fowler.
