Death
FOWLER — Martha J. Hall, 82, of Fowler, died at 4 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2011, at St. Elizabeth East, Lafayette. She was born June 24, 1929, to the late Charles and Selma Hopper Hamilton. She graduated from Fowler High School in 1947. She was a secretary at Demeter Grain Elevators, retiring from there after 20 years. She also owed the Nic Nac Café in Fowler for several years. Martha enjoyed her animals and also raised wolves. Surviving are 5 grandchildren, Kim, Dustin, Jon, Margaret, husband Charlie, and Eddie, wife Amy; 3 great-grandchildren, Johnathon, Steve, and Summer, and a son-in-law, David Legg. Preceded in death by one son Steven Furr and one daughter Mary Legg. Private services 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Windler Funeral Home. Burial at Fowler Cemetery.Published in the Journal & Courier on November 13, 2011
