Death
WILLIAM HERBERT McKIMMEY, well-known farmer of Forest Grove, died at his home, Saturday night after an illness of 3 days, aged 68 years. He was a son of the late Charles F. and Sarah Edwards McKimmey, of Loudoun County, Va. and was a member of Forest Grove Methodist church. In engaged in farming all his life and lived at his present residence for 38 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Leta Furr McKimmey; these sons and daughters: Mrs. Melvin L. Shipley, Hagerstown; Mrs. L. Rayhue Specht, Frederick; William W. McKimmey, Richard B. McKimmey, Miss Betty Lee McKimmey, at home; brothers and sisters: Elbert McKimmey, Waterford, Va.; C. Irvin McKimmey, Lovettsville, Va.; Lenox T. McKimmey, Lovettsville; Bertram W. McKimmey, Lucketts, Va.; Mrs. John T. Patton, Silver Spring; Mrs. G. Tunis Titus, Lucketts, Va. Services were held at the M.R. Etchison and Son funeral home; interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.Source: The News (Frederick, MD)
