Death
Mrs. LETA McKIMMY, 82, widow of William H. McKimmy, near Dickerson, died Sunday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mrs. and Mrs. L. Rayhu Specht, North Market Street. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Fannie Virts Furr, and was a member of Forest Grove Methodist Church. Besides Mrs. Specht, she leaves two other daughters, Mrs. Melvin L. Shipley, Hagerstown; and Mrs. Elliott A. Soule, Frederick; two sons, William W. McKimmy and Richard B. McKimmy, both of near Dickerson; three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Titus, Rumson, NJ; Mrs. Grace Fry, Leesburg; and Mrs. Mary Myers, Falls Church; two grandchildren, William H. McKimmy and Carol Ann McKimmy, both of near Dickerson. Services were held at the M.R. Etchison and Son funeral home; interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery.Source: The News (Frederick, MD)
