DIED.
In memory of Mrs Mary Marcus, who died March 12, 1902, at her home near Round Hill. She leaves a husband and six children to mourn her loss. To the bereaved family we offer our sincerest sympathy and pray that when they are called to lie down beside her their lamps may be trimmed and burning.
Dearest Mama, we have laid you
In the cold and silent mound,
But thy memory will be cherished
Even until our hearts are cold.
Home is sad, Oh God, how dreary
Lonesome, lonely every spot,
Listening for her voice still weary,
Weary for we hear it not.
Lord give us strength our loss to bear,
And lead us in thy way,
She can never more come to us here
But may we go to her some day.
