Death
On Monday, May 15, 1939 at his home, 3512 36th st. n.w., Minor Edward Furr, beloved husband of Myrtle T. Furr. Funeral private. Kindly omit flowers.Minor Furr, aged 69, a retired police sergeant, died at his home in Washington Monday from a stroke of paralysis. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Thomas Furr, a sister of George Thomas in Hamilton and by two sons, Roger of Detroit and Joseph of Washington, and two daughters, Miss Martha Furr and Mrs. Francis Fitzgerald both of Washington. Funeral services were held from his residence in Washington on Wednesday with burial at Ebenezer. The Masons officiated.
