Death
Services for Roger T. Furr, 50, an engineer for Booth & Flinn here, will be held tomorrow at the Trotts Funeral Home, Rochester, N. Y. Mr. Furr died Saturday of a heart ailment while visiting relatives in the upstate New York city. His home was at 1411 Brownsville Rd. and he worked for the contracting firm over a number of years. He took part in the company’s construction of Bigelow Boulevard, the Montgomery Dam near Beaver, Westinghouse Bridge and Banksville Road. Starting with the company in 1929, he left near the outset of World War II and returned 3 years ago. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Floy Rafferty Furr; a son, Roger Thomas Furr; his mother, Mrs. Myrtle T. Furr, of Washington; a brother, Joseph, also of Washington, and two sisters, Mrs. Louls Heiss, of Silver Springs, Md, and Mrs. Francis Fitzgerald, of Tucson, Ariz.
