Death
Crawfordsville Journal April 6, 1933 Waynetown, April 6 -- Frank Furr, a resident of the Hillsboro and Waynetown community his entire life with the exception of the past few months died suddenly at his home near New Market Thursday morning at 8 o'clock. Mr. Furr had been in declining health for several months. Heart failure caused his death. Mr. Furr was born south of Hillsboro on Jan 17, 1855 and was a son of William and Elizabeth Booe Furr. He was united in marriage to Miss Elizabeth Fletcher 50 years ago. He was a member of the Ingersoll Christian Church situated southwest of Hillsboro. In addition to his widow, Mr. Furr is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Grace Alvey (Alfrey?) of near Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be conducted at Waynetown Christian Church Sunday afternoon at 2 and will be in charge of Rev. W.H. Newlin of Crawfordsville. Interment in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.Endnotes
