Death
Lawrence R. Furr, 67, died suddenly at his residence near The Plains, Friday, December 16. Mr. Furr's wife, Mary Bullard Furr, died some time ago. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Nellie Cunningham, Opal; Mrs. Lucy Haley, Alexandria; Budd Furr, Culpeper; Bill Furr. Catlett; Marshall Furr, The Plains: Mrs. Louise Edmonds, Rectortown; Mrs. Mary Stone, The Plains, and Mrs. Anna Hirst, Manassas. Funeral services were conducted from Royston Funeral Home, Marshall, by the Rev. W. M. Thompson, pastor of Long Branch Baptist Church, Halfway. Interment was in Marshall Cemetery.The Fauquier Democrat, Warrenton, Virginia, December 29, 1955
