Death
Funeral services were held at the Marshall Baptist Church last Thursday for Mrs. Lawrence Furr, 55, of The Plains, who died Monday in an automobile accident on Route 29 between Warrenton and Opal. Burial was at Marshall Cemetery. Sheriff Sam Hall said Mrs. Furr was a passenger in a truck driven by her son Turner Furr. The accident apparently occurred, he said, when a vehicle in front of the truck stopped suddenly and the truck overturned. Sheriff Hall said there were no other serious injuries and that no charges were entered against the drivers.The Fauquier Democrat, Warrenton, Virginia, March 29, 1951
