Death
Elizabeth "Betty" Furr, 82, of Middleburg, died of renal failure Sept. 29 in Clearwater, Fla. She was born Oct. 15, 1923, in Middleburg to the late Daniel Otto and Elizabeth Smith Furr. Miss Furr worked most of her life as a secretary and bookkeeper. In her later years she lived on Maryland's Eastern Shore, then moved to Clearwater. Survivors include her companion, Robert Fillman. Miss Furr was buried in Middleburg Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements were by Royston Funeral Home of Middleburg.Loudoun Times-Mirror, Leesburg, Virginia, October 17, 2006
