Death
Lelia Agnes FURR MANUEL, 94, of North Charleston, died Tuesday in a Summerville hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday in Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. Born in Loudan [sic] County, Virginia, she was the daughter of Hary FURR and Rachel LEACH FURR. Mrs. MANUEL was the widow of William R. MANUEL. Survivors include daughters, Margaret L., KNAPP of Isle of Palms, Isabella C. LOSO of Franklin, Virginia, and Charlotte A. DOBBINS of North Charleston; 22 grandchidren; 31 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.The Post and Courier, March 7, 2001
