Death
Jean M. Boyce-Trachsel, 75, formerly of Marion, passed away Monday, February 21, 2005 at her residence in Columbus. Born April 24, 1929 in Marion, she was the daughter of the late Grover C. and Goldie V. (Furr) White. She first married Robert L. Boyce and he preceded her in death in August of 1985. She later married Dennis L. Trachsel and he survives in Marion. A homemaker and lifetime resident of Marion, she was also a member of the Marion Senior Center. In addition to her husband, she is also survived by 2 sons, Michael R. Boyce of Powell and Bradley L. Boyce of Scottsdale, Ariz.; step-daughter, Darlene Sutherland of Calif.; 3 brothers, Grover L. White of Galion, Lewis F. White of Reedsville and Thomas L. White of Bardstown, Ky.; 2 sisters, Elsie Lormor of Galion and Virginia R. White of Galion; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Jack. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, February 24, 2005 at the BOYD FUNERAL HOME. Entombment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Galion. Friends may call Wednesday 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Harbor Light Hospice in Westerville.Endnotes
