Death
STAUNTON-Robert Lee Furr died Monday night at the home of his brother, William F. Furr, Star Route B, Staunton. Mr. Furr was born in Augusta County May 5, 1899, a son of the late John N. and Margaret Virginia Furr. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ed Harris, Lyndhurst; and one brother, William F. Furr, also four stepdaughters and four stepsons, and eight grandchildren. A funeral service wil be conducted tomorrow at 11 a.m. from the chapel of the Rosen Funeral Home in Middlebrook, conducted by the Rev. Otis W. Zirkle. Interment will be in Thornrose Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Bill Wright, Robert Wright, John P. Henderson, Harvey Hyland, William B. Myers, and Erskin Furr. Honorary pallbearers will be Harvey Troxell, Homer Hull, Sidney Stover, James Rexrode, M. L. Spitler, L. H. Howdyshell, and Frank Brownlee.Waynesboro News Virginian-date of paper: March 27, 1958
