Death
Mrs. Godwin G. Johnson, who made her home in Staunton, died at 5:30 a.m. today. Mrs. Johnson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Harvey Furr, of Pine avenue. Funeral services will be held from the Hamrick Funeral Home in Staunton tomorrow at 2:30. Rev. A. McK. Reynolds will have charge of the services. Burial will be in the River View Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. Mrs. Johnson was a member of te Main Street Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, her parents and one sister, Mrs. Durward Fry, of Waynesboro.Waynesboro News Virginian, April 6, 1944
