Death
Furr III, Olen Laco Mr. Furr died on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, in Pride, at the age of 54. He was self-employed for 30 years. There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Zachary, conducted by Dr. Wayne Barnes. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ann Marie and Shawn Boudreaux of Zachary; a son, Joshua Laco Furr of Zachary; a sister, Rosie F. Triche of Pride; and two grandchildren, Alexandra and Jules Boudreaux. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olen J. Furr Jr. and Livinia Verspreet Furr; a sister, Patricia Howze; and a brother, William "Bill" R. Furr. Arrangements by Charlet Funeral Home, Zachary.The Advocate, January 30, 2007
