She was 69 , a resident of Slaughter and a native of St . Nicklass , Belgium. Visiting was held at Charlet Funeral Home , Zachary , 6 to 9 p .m . Friday , with a rosary at 7 p .m . Visiting at St . John the Baptist Catholic Church , 9:30 a .m . until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a .m .
Saturday , conducted by Father Mat Lorrain . Interment in Azalea Rest Cemetery. Survived by husband , Olen Laco Furr Jr ., Slaughter ; a daughter , Rosa Marie Triche , Walker ; a son-in-law , Leo Triche , Walker ; two sons and a daughter-in-law , William R . "Bill " Furr , and Olen Laco Furr III and Connie Furr , all of Slaughter ; a brother , Etienne Verspreet , St . Nicklass , Belgium ; four granddaughters , Debbie Howze Kartsonis , Ann Marie Chambers , Kimberly Danielle Furr and Montana Marie Furr ; and two grandsons , Joshua Furr and Airen Triche .
Pallbearers will be William "Bill " Furr , Olen Laco Furr III , Marc "Red " Frazier , Leo Triche , Bill Dennison and Jim Kartsonis . She was a member of St . John the Baptist Catholic Church .
