Death

WAPAKONETA — Sharon K. Cavinder, 64, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 12:45 PM on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Mercy Health-St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. She was born on June 12, 1954 in Kenton to Roy and Betty (Cramer) Furr, who both preceded her in death. On January 20, 1995, she married Robin L. Cavinder, who survives in Wapakoneta. Sharon had worked as a bar tender at several area bars and as a press operator at Superior Metals. She enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and family gatherings. She was a Cincinnati Bengals fan. Above all else she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her children William Travis (Desma) Cook and Farrah Cook both of Wapakoneta, Leslie (Michael) McKee, Christine (Dale) Newbury and Robin (Todd) Freed all of Lima; her nineteen grandchildren; her brothers Ernie (Chris) and Donald "Ed" Furr both of Lima; her sisters Sandra (Fritz) Lawrence of Lima and Donna (Curt) Anderson of Cridersville; her two dogs Honey and Bunny. She was preceded in death by her brother Roy "Buck" Furr, Jr. and her sister Connie Furr. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL, with a funeral service immediately following at 5:00 PM.
