Death
Buck was born on March 1, 1957, in Kenton, to Roy B. & Betty L. Cramer Furr Sr., who have preceded him in death. He was a 1975 graduate of Lima Senior High School. On September 25, 1975, he entered the United States Army and was honorably discharged on September 24, 1978. Buck was a member of VFW Post 1275 and the American Legion Post 96, both in Lima. In his free time, Roy loved fishing, playing poker with friends, and watching sports and NASCAR. He will be remembered as a very loving and caring man, who will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by a son, Justin Blaine & Nicole Furr Sr., of Wapak; five grandchildren, Shwna, Justin Jr., Trenton, Abigale, and Damien Roy; two step-daughters, Sheila Tippie and Stephaie Ervn, both of Lima; 12 step-grandchildren; two brothers, Ernie & Chris Furr and Dnald Furr, both of Lima; and three sisters, Sharon & Robin Caviner, of Wapak, Sondra & Fritz Lawrence, of Lima, and Donna & Curt Anderson, of Cridersville. He was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Furr.Endnotes
