On Thursday, March 19, 1936 at Emergency Hospital, Claude Furr, beloved husband of Mary Furr and father of Mrs. Hazel Burkley, Marie, Claude, jr., William, Ellen, Mary Florence and May Alice Furr. Remains resting at the W. W. Chambers Co. funeral home, 1400 Chapin st. n.w., until Saturday, March 21, 12 noon. Funeral services in the Baptist Church, Middleburg. Va. at 2:30 p.m. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Sharon Cemetery, Middleburg, Va.The Washington Post, Washington, DC, March 20, 1936
