Linda (Furr) Law, 57, wife of David F. Law Jr., died Monday, June 2, 2008. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2008, in Ridgeview Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2008, at Henry Funeral Home.

STUARTS DRAFT — Linda (Furr) Law, 57, wife of David F. Law Jr. of 2468 Tinkling Spring Road, Stuarts Draft, died Monday, June 2, 2008, at her residence. She was born Aug. 28, 1950, in Staunton, a daughter of Eva (Nutty) Furr of Staunton and the late Elwood H. Furr. Mrs. Law was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Gary L. "Pete" Furr; and a brother-in-law, G.C. Ashby. In addition to her beloved husband of 38 years and her mother, family members include a precious son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Caroline Law; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Elwood C. and Becky Furr and Robert E. Furr; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Shirley and James Lafon, Nancy and Carl Talley and Judy Ashby, all of Staunton; and three grandchildren, Joel, Jordan and Jude. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2008, in Ridgeview Baptist Church by the Revs. Don McClure and James Chappell. Burial will follow in White Hill Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Charlie Bird, Larry Ramsey, Brent Ashby, Curtiss Cook, Menno Kinsinger, Wayne Pettway, David Sayers and Terry Lafon. Honorary pallbearers will be Mary Ann Sayers, Phyllis Bird, Linda Lane, Linda Shull, Charlotte Balser and the ladies of the church. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2008, at Henry Funeral Home and at other times at her home.
