Death
On February 11, 1955 at her home Margaret Kendall Dameron beloved wife of Clyde Dameron, daughter of Charles & Amanda Chappell, mother of Dorothy M. Ashley, sister of George, Henry , Joseph, Douglas, Charles and Edward Furr, Mrs. George Emmart, Mrs Ethel Cauffman, Mrs William Harmon and one granddaughter. Funeral Service Feb 14 with internment at Cedar Hill.The Washington Post, Washington, DC, February 12, 1955
Mrs. Margaret Furr Dameron, 57, a native of Bluemont, died in Fairfax February 11. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. and Amanda Chappell Furr, both of whom survive her. Mrs. Dameron is also survived by her husband, Mr. Clyde Dameron; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Ashley and a granddaughter Donna Ashley of Fairfax; six brothers, Bill, Henry, Joseph, Douglas, Charles and Edward Furr, and three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Coffman, Mrs. Mable Emmart, and Mrs. Josephine Harmon of Washington and Alexandria. Funeral services were held from the Lee Funeral home in Washington February 14. Pallbearers were six members of the Odd Fellows Lodge. Interment was in Cedar Hill cemetery.
