The marriage of Miss Mary K. Strother to Mr. Charles C. Furr, both of Paris, Va., took place Thursday evening last at the home of the bride's cousin, Mrs. J. W. Dawson, of 213 Twelfth street southwest. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. J. C. Hawk, of Marvin M. E. Church South. The parlor was tastefully decorated with palms and cut flowers. The bride wore a charming traveling suit of dark blue, with silk hat to match. The wedding march was rendered by Miss Marguerite L. Dawson. Only the immediate families were present.
