Mrs. Margaret Miley Furr. 87, a lifelong resident of Loudoun County, Va, who died Sunday, was buried Tuesday in Sharon Cemetery in Middleburg, Va, Mrs. Furr, who made her home in Middleburg, had been ill for four months. The daughter of Caldwell Glasscock and Charlotte Barton Miley, she attended public schools in Loudoun County. Her husband, Kemp B. Furr, was a prominent farmer in Middleburg before his death 37 years ago. Mrs. Furr was a member of the Middleburg Baptist Church. The mother of 12 children, she is survived by six daughters and six sons, all of Washington and Loudoun County. They are Mrs. John Hennley, Mrs. Edith Johnson, Mrs. Ann Wiltshire, Mrs. Lottie Prespraves, Mrs. Violet Hines and Mrs. Margaret Nichols and Clayton H., Warren J., Buckner M., Walter L., Carl H. and Kemp B. Furr, Jr. A brother and two sisters also survive.The Evening Star, Washington, DC, July 7, 1949
