Death
FLANDREAU — Aileen Bell, 84, Flandreau, died Sunday in Flandreau Hospital. Aileen Furr was born May 19, 1904, on a farm near Blackstone, Ill. At the age of 4 she moved to North Dakota with her parents. When she was 6 they moved to the Parkston area, where she attended rural Hutchinson County schools. In 1918 they moved to a farm southeast of White. She completed her education at the School of Agriculture in Brookings. She married Henry L. Bell on Sept. 28, 1926, in Brookings. They lived in Moody County and farmed in Clare Township until 1973 when they retired. In July 1981 they moved into Flandreau. Survivors include her husband; one son, Harold, Englewood, Colo; two daughters:Bell, Sioux Falls; and Mrs. Marvin (Marlys) Britton, Jefferson; seven grandchildren; andtwo great-grandchildren.Endnotes
