Death
Charles R. Furr, 90, a native of Brookfield township, died Thanksgiving Day at his home in Flandreau, S. D. Funeral services will be held there. Mr. Furr was the last member of a pioneer La Salle county family. His sister, Mrs. Nettie Masters, Ottawa, died several years ago. He was born on a Brookfield township farm, the son on the late Squire and Mary Furr. He is survived by his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Alex Bell of Flandreau, and five grandchildren.The Times, Streator, Illinois, November 29, 1952
