Death
Mrs. J..D. (Ina) Hoxsey, 70, of Wedron died suddenly Saturday at 7 p.m. at Ryburn-King Hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 at Hulse's funeral home. The Rev. Albert M. Smith of Wilmette, a former pastor of the Wedron Methodist Church, will officiate. Friends may call from 2 until 4 this afternoon or from 7 until 9 this evening, at Hulse's. Mrs. Hoxsey was born March 15, 1883 in Serena Twp., the daughter of David and Ocena Hall. She was married to J. D. Hoxsey on Feb. 28, 1907. They have lived in Wedron and this vicinity the past 28 years where they have operated the local'grocery store. Surviving is her husband, a son Doyle of Wedron; two sisters, Mrs. Donald Poole of Harding and Mrs. Frank Wright of Leland; and two brothers Ward and Read Hall of Serena Township; and three grandchildren.Endnotes
