Death
Mrs. Faith A. Rothenberger Lester, 91, died at 5:25 AM Saturday in Lafayette Healthcare Center, where she had been a patrient since January, 1983. Born in Mulberry, March 21, 1893, she had lived in Lafayette since her marriage in 1914 to Frank A. Lester, Sr. He was employed in Maintenance at the Lahr Hotel prior to his death in 1948. Surviving are five sons, Leo Lester of West Lafayette, Harold and Kenneth Lester, both of Lafayette, Bernard Lester of West Point and Harry Lester of Schererville; and two daughters, Mildred Lester, at home, and Mrs. Dale (Norma Jean) Hoppes of Gaithersburg, MD. 35 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and four great-great- grandchildren also survive. Preceded in death by three sons, Cleo, Frank, and George. Interment Spring Vale Cemetery, Lafayette, INLafayette Journal & Courier - May 20, 1984
