Death
James Edward Furr Jr., 41, of New Jersey (formerly of Ligonier) died Tuesday, March 4, 1986, in Garden State Community Hospital, New Jersey. He was born March 20, 1944, in Latrobe, a son of Doris Miller of South Carolina and the late James Edward Furr Sr. A former member of Laughlintown Christian Church, he was a customer representative for Gulf Oil Corp. of Philadelphia. He was predeceased by one sister, Connie Dull. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Wendy Montgomery Furr; one son, William James Furr, at home, and one sister, Mrs. Allen (Doris) Graham of South Carolina. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Wolford-McCracken Funeral Home inc., 144 E. Main St., Ligonier, where service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev.
