1870 census shows born in Maryland.Death
Abigail married Jeremiah C. Furr at the 7th Presbyterian church, New York City, on 6 November 1828. They moved to Monmouth about 1866, and he died there in 1888. Abigail died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Carr, of Bedford, Iowa. Also surviving was a daughter, Mrs. E. Morris of Monmouth, and a number of grandchildren (other living children were not named in the obituary). A few years prior to her death, a five generation photo of the family was taken. She was a member of the First Baptist church, Monmouth. Graveside services were conducted by Rev. Dr. J. H. Delano.Endnotes
