Death

Robert "Bob" Furr, 71 of Belpre, Ohio died at his residence on May 5, 2020 surrounded by his family. Bob was a retired Navy veteran. He was an avid hunter and was a member of the Mountain State Sportsman Association in Parkersburg, WV, and the Fort Harmar Gun Club of Marietta, Ohio. Survivors include his wife Susie Furr, a daughter, Brandy Furr of North Carolina, two brothers, Rallph (Barbara) Furr of Lincolnton, NC, Jim (Debbie) Furr of Lowell, Ohio, two sisters, Crystal Delaney of Vienna, WV, and Patty (Lem) Powell of Coolville, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be conducted at the Rockland Cemetery, Belpre, Ohio on Friday at 1:00 PM. There will be a visitation at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre on Friday from 11:30 to 12:30. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Human Society of Ohio or the Parkersburg Chapter.
