Death
Beverly Snider Furr, 72, of Fort Fairfield, Maine, a relative of area residents, died Thursday, April 29, 2010. She had lived in Fort Fairfield for the past eight years. Born Jan. 11, 1938, in Fountain County, she was the daughter of the late Donald P. and Esther Ann Look Furr. She also had lived in Florida and Ohio. She was an avid seamstress, and enjoyed quilting and cooking. She was an active member of New Jerusalem Fellowship in Fort Fairfield. Surviving are a son, Richard Snider (wife: Diane) of Lacon, Ill.; a daughter, Angela Davis (husband: Kyle) of Kissimmee, Fla.; stepchildren, William, Paul and Brianna Levasseur of Florida; brothers, Donald W. Furr (wife: Patsy) of West Lebanon, Marvin Furr (wife: Ruth) of Attica and Terrell Furr (wife: Rita) of Kingman; and sisters, Janice Bowman of Albany, Ore., Sharon Davis (husband: Ken) of Wheatland, Calif., and Carolyn Coffing (husband: Ron) of Crawfordsville.
