Mrs. Kathryn Michelle Kelley Borghi, 51, of Springfield, MO died Saturday, March 8, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Borghi was a native of Monroe, Louisiana; a resident of Springfield, Missouri for the past four years and a former resident of Dallas, Texas, Monroe and Bastrop, Louisiana. She graduated from Prairie View Academy in Bastrop, LA and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She was an advertising executive and a member of the First Baptist Church in Bastrop, LA. She adored her two nephews and she enjoyed extensive traveling with her family.
She is preceded in death by her father, J.D. Kelley in 2004.
She is survived by her mother, Joan Sumner Kelley; a brother, Michael Kelley and wife, Judy, all of Richmond, Virginia; two nephews, David & Shawn Kelley and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services and burial are 5 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2008 in the Promise Land Cemetery with Rev. Jim Ingram and Rev. L. H. McCullough officiating. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 620 E. Madison Ave., Bastrop, LA 71220 or to the Promise Land Cemetery Association, 318 Ashley 131 Road, Hamburg, AR 71646.
