Mary Lee Kelley Stafford, 76, of Hamburg, died Wednesday, April 4, 2018. Mrs. Stafford was a native and lifelong resident of Hamburg and a 1959 graduate of Hamburg High School. She was a Dietary Manager for over 20 years, having worked for the Hamburg Nursing Home, Pinewood Health and Rehabilitation Center and Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Stafford was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. She loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Malvin “Monk” and Willie Nadine Stell Kelley and a brother, Don Kelley.
She is survived by two sons, Billy W. “Bubba” Stafford, Jr. and wife, Candie, and Scotty Stafford all of Hamburg; two daughters, Robin Stafford of Hamburg and Gayle Shepherd and husband, Eddie, of Gould; three sisters, Mary “Tilly” Mann, Faye Wallace and husband, Emmitt, and Ann Brooks and husband, Steve, all of Hamburg; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Josh Luellen officiating. Burial will be in the Promise Land Cemetery. Pallbearers are Aaron Cunningham, Trae Shepherd, Hunter Stafford, Dakotah Stafford, Willey Powell, Zackery Griffith, Jay Griffith, Tyler Stafford and Hayden Stafford. Honorary pallbearers are Hamburg High School Class of 1959. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 901 N. University Avenue, Little Rock, AR 72207.
